I've been a member for many years :) I love to scan and love all the gifts in the catalog!
I was a part of NCP and my scanner broke so I sent it back to get a new one (after talking to customer service) and they deleted my account and never sent me another scanner. Months of emails and all I ever get is them telling me to try and sign-up and how not all areas take new customers.
I am eager to give this a try. I hope you will be recruiting households in my area relatively soon. :*I have been quite patient & finally I received an email informing me I was accepted into the panel, after completing a survey to determine the form of scanner I will be using now I wait just little longer and hopefully I will begin this new hobby very soon :)
I wish they had more variety of gift cards so we could get them. Being our age, we don't need a lot of appliances, etc, but gift cards for resturants, etc.would be great.
I have been a scanner for years. And while I like the program for the most part, I'm pretty unhappy with the App. I used a regular rf scanner for years and was thrilled when NCP came out with a mobile app. It is extremely frustrating though that unlike the scanner, after scanning an hours worth of groceries in a shopping trip, you accidentally close the app, everything you scanned is gone. Horrible. Wasn't worth it at all. I waited two years to get in. Finally got in, and barely 6 months later, I'm sending the equipment back. First, it said I was eligible for some discount store of some type. Wouldn't let me in. Wrote them. Was told they were putting my name back in and I'll be able to access it shortly. Never could. Then my scanner wouldn't transmit. They kept telling me to unplug it and reset it. Would work once, then stop again. It took so long to scan everything. You scan an item, then it asks, how much. This is a great program. Things sometimes just work out in ways that you know God has his hand in. I signed up and was approved for this and had literally just switched to AT&T with no clue of the benefits to come. For the past 18 months, the entire time I have been with AT&T I have received 25% off of every bill. Not to mention the points from scanning and the truly short surveys. I thought this would be something great to give feedback in my spare time but the rewards are not great enough I saved for a whole year accumulated something like 26,000 points so I said hey it's my son's birthday, who happens to be Down syndrome, so I said hey I'll get him the telescope/microscope it gets here and it literally falls apart so I'm asking myself is it really worth it to save a whole year for junk my answer is no.
