The Emerald Club concept is great. Fast and convenient. I just never know what car I want! So many to choose from.
My trip to Boston and Connecticut was added with extra delight by having a great rental experience with National. I had many varieties of cars to choose from and I was in and out in no time. Very good customer service, I would highly recommend. There weekend quote was $100 less than Enterprise, Hertz, and Budget.
Quick, efficient and friendly at midnight on Sunday, April 29, 2018 was a great and appreciated surprise.
Getting the car and returning it was a pleasure. Now, my problem with this company is that they don't seem to care if you left something in the car when you return it. I left my EZ pass transponder and I called them several times with no return calls or emails. And still to this day, I have not heard from them. I had to cancel/report it stolen from the state that I got it with and I have to pay for the replacement.

Nothing faster, more economical and easy than just walking to the car “you want,” getting inside, turning the keys and driving away. As a long time business traveler (20 years driving rental cars), I know from having tried all the major rental car agencies, NATIONAl is the best. Cars are new. Choices plentiful. Just grab and go. Very nice loyalty program that awards you free—anytime use—vehicles (some just give you free weekend rentals. As if driving and traveling all week long, having a free weekend makes me excited?
