My mom arrived 30 minutes before her scheduled appointment and waited at the front desk while the receptionist remained on the phone and never acknowledged or checked her in. When my mom’s appointment time arrived, the receptionist told her she could not be seen because she was late. It’s frustrating that she arrived early but missed her appointment because she was never given the opportunity to check in. I hope the office improves its front desk communication and patient service so this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

Had the best experience in the Interventional Radiology dept both times (Nov. 6, 2023 & July 2, 2026) with my lumbar epidural steroid injections!! Had a different radiologist and set of nurses both years but they all were absolutely exceptional with their care, compassion and bedside manner!! I will always recommend Interventional Radiology dept to anyone who needs their services and care and anytime I need more lumbar epidural steroid injections, I'll always have them done in their dept!! I came to Nash day March 16 to meet with Mihail Dobre and told him the problem I was having with my shoulder and arm he did a little pop here and there with my neck then he told me he will see if my Medicaid will pay for acupuncture then he set my appointment to come back and start therapy exercises starting from April 13 to May 4 witch I came every Monday the next time I see mihail Debre is on May 11 my last day he ash how ha my pain and arm and shoulder bend I said the same now of them exercises didn't help but it made my ... read more

I had major back surgery on February 2025 and i must say,from the time of my initial contact with the orthopedic into my scheduling for the surgery,I had nothing but a consistent,caring experience with the entire staff at UNC Rocky Mount..The complicated surgery was a success and the surgeon was and still a caring person for my recovery status..
