I had a reservation, and 2 weeks later, long before my reservation was to start, they canceled it starting there was a glitch and I could rebook with the higher price. Also stated they would be keeping my prepaid amount as a deposit. Scammers.

Good afternoon--- I have been using NU car rental for my many trips to Denver, Colorado. I am in Denver at least twice a month for business. The last two times the customer service has been beyond atrocious. Both times I rented a full size SUV, BOTH times at pick up the SUV's were either not there or weren't ready and I was told it would be a few hours to have them cleaned. Bait and switch. These people are crooks. They "Do not accept **********" so I had to pay extra for their insurance. Car was filthy and had a odor. I recommend using anyone else.

Dan the fleet manager is the worst manager. No accountability for the cars that should not be rented. Tires are very worn and unsafe and all he said was I wasn't here when you called? He didn't care to find out or know what was going on and was rude to me. NEVER EVER RENT HERE. Pay a little more and use a company that is reputable ....

I was offered the protection package at pick up, I denied any extra coverage. The woman at the front desk asked me why I was in town and I said I was there for a family emergency and would not be using the vehicle much. I was still charged the extra $189 and the company has been going back and forth with me over this extra charge, THAT I NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN CHARGED.

Don't waste yours money please !! It was a rip off ! Very poor service . Dirty car! Never again ! Tricky at getting money from you and then they refuse to refund .

We rented a car in LA on Feb 21st.. We were late 3 hours getting our car. We went for a walk and then had lunch. We got back and was signing paperwork telling us to bring back the car full. While we were driving to our sons place we noticed the tank half full. I was driving and my husband called telling them of the situation. We signed the paper to bring it back full. We did and we have tried several times and no one will call. I filled out forms and get a ticket number and still hear nothing. This company is a rip off. Lous... read more

Stay away! We booked through Hotwire and received a NU car rental. We showed up at the San Diego Airport and were told they had no cars left. We were left standing on the curb as their van drove away. Most of the other agencies did not have any other cars, so we were forced to pay an additional $800 for four day car rental from another agency. I am still working on getting a refund back from NU. Overall, a very bad experience.

They are an awful company. I would give them a 0 if I could. They were closed when we arrived. Nowhere in their paperwork did it say that they would close at 9:00 pm. How could a rental car company at an airport close at 9:00? They refused to refund me my money. Do not use them!!!
