Horrible Horrible ! Would never use them again. Not even at the PHX Car Rental Bldg. Had to walk over 1/2mile with luggage to get to the spot where the shuttle comes. Wait time was over 20 Minutes. The car rental is located in downtown Phoenix. They never said where they were. In a old building. The car we got was severely dented and dirty inside and out. I rented a jeep in San Diego, and they charged me for gas I didn't use 12.00 a gallon, didn't take me back to the airport, charged me for taking us to and from the airport and didn't take us, charged for an extra day, and the agent gave me a false name, that's what scared me...how do you run a legit business like this...I called to complain about him and they were like it no big deal. I hope this dosen"t happen to anyone else. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS CARE RENTAL ITS A SCAM!!!!! JUST **** IT IS WAY BETTER THAN THEM

I rented an economy size car on 1/8/22 for a trip 3/9/22 and paid in full on line. I wanted an economy size car because I had planned on visiting several areas of florida and doing a lot of driving. I got to the rental car place to pick up my car and they had nothing but oversized (3 rows seats)SUV's left on the lot. I asked for a smaller car as I have never driven anything that big and gas prices are outrageous right now. I would give a 0 if I could. This is a very deceitful company. I prepaid a rental. When I checked in, I declined all insurance coverages. However, when my credit card bill came, they had charged me for insurance. I contacted them and was told it was too late, the charges were already processed, too bad and hung up. They even some how changed where I initialed declining of coverage to acceptance. DO NOT rent from this terrible car rental in Orlando! You will be less stressed renting from one of the national chains!

Awful rental car that made a lot of noises with a lot of hidden fees attached to the agreement. Two weeks after retuning the car in the same condition we got it, a $189 charge was taken out of my account with no reason. Horrible, please avoid!!

Awful experience. Very unprofessional. Offices were dirty and unkempt, car was not ready on time (despite our being late to pick it up). Shuttle and office hours at SLC location were very limited and not convenient at all if you have an early or late flight - employee graciously told me I'd have to call an***** to make our return work out (so nice...). And to top it off, despite the employee telling me by initialing my rental contract in the appropriate places I was waiving additional insurance fees, after we return the car ... read more

I reserved a car to be picked up in San Diego on 11/27/21. I arrived at the rental location (off airport property) and was told there were no cars available. Since returning from my trip I have called and emailed Nu Car on numerous occasions and have neither received a response to emails nor ever been able to get thru toa live person. Based on their BBB score and the online comments it should be clear that these people are scammers. Don't fall for the low price. In this case, you get what you paid for. Unable to get any help with renting a vehicle. I walked in to the rental office in San Diego and was told that I should try to rent a vehicle on line. She couldn't help me at the office. Online I was unable to complete the rental with my credit card. The website recognized it as a debit card (which it isn't). Multiple credit cards were not accepted for the reservation. Terrible terrible terrible customer service. When you call the customer service center, they keep you on hold for about 30 seconds, then send you to voicemail. They say they prefer that you send emails, but it takes weeks to get a response, and when you do get a response, it's not helpful. When you do get a customer service representative on the phone, they say they can't help and instead to send an email. I've all but begged representatives to help me over the phone and they refuse.
