It eas very specious and well kept. We had a 3 bedroom condo which was simply lovely. I would recommend this place for vacation to all.
We stayed in a 3 bedroom which was very spacious and lovely. The only complaint I have is we were not told to bring toiletries. I Knew I had to bring some things like laundry soap and things like that but we didn't even have toilet paper. I had to buy toilet paper and paper towels and dish soap and trash bags and I could go on and on. I mean we didn't even have toilet paper. And I had to buy my own trash bags. That's ridiculous. Myrtlewood Villas was chosen to be the ideal place for our family union but our experience was horrible. Despite the confirmation that everyone would be in the same vicinity, we were not. Rooms were not cleaned, broken and dirty furniture, ceiling fans did not worked, broken air conditioner and the Pavilion we reserved for the family barbecue had to be shared with another family due to over booking. Myrtlewood Villas you did not provide the service your promised and compensations were minimal.
Our condo is very clean and nicely decorated. We have a great view and the overall property is well kept. We were very pleased.
For the price I paid on groupon for the 2 BR villa isn't terrible, but it also isn't nice by any means. Very run down and not well kept, all of the tile flooring (kitchen, and both bathrooms were sticky). Bring your own pillows, linens, and towels. Their's are like paper and they don't even have pillow cases for the extra pillows in closet. Couches are falling apart too. Front door has light shining through so AC is pouring out of the villa. The office booked us into a room that they knew had intravenous drug users in it prior to our stay. We found bloody used needles and spoons. There was blood on the floor and walls. The complex moved us into a room with dirty linens and when we asked to speak with Ben the Regional Manager , he would not return our calls. This is a nice complex but I suggest bringing your own linens and checking your rooms before you make yourself comfortable.
The staff is friendly, but housekeeping is non-existent. We were visiting with a large group. One family was given a room that had not been touched by housekeeping (unmade beds, dirty dishes, etc.), another family had one bathroom that was uncleaned (organic waste still on toilet), and we found dirty towels, stiff and dry, crumpled in a dirty pile in the closet in our unit.
