Do not go to My Eye Dr they are horrible! I had an eye exam on 7/31/2020 with Dr Carla L (she was great!) in the Grayslake, Illinois office. I had a regular eye exam and also to see about getting contacts. Dr Carla thought she could make contacts work for me and I was billed $484.43 and it was charged to my credit card. Before charging it I asked if contacts didn't work would I get my money back and was assured it would be. Trial contacts were ordered and 2 weeks later they came in but did not work for me. Where do I start!... Well, 1st, someone from management or corporate needs to check this location out in North Charleston and evaluate and educate them on proper Customer Service, Inventory, Order Tracking and not wasting customers time and gas money. I have had not 1, but 2 Awful experiences at this same location. On both visits, I paid for and order specific glasses, and both times I was notified by email, text and phone call my order was complete and ready for pick up. Where to start? My family was very satisfied as patients at Ossip Optometry for many years. Then, last year, Ossip changed to MyEyeDoctor. We all had a general feeling that the quality of our exams had deteriorated, but didn’t think it was necessary to make a change at the time. They need to improve in MANY MANY WAYS. I paid over $60 for a contact exam and have waited over 6 weeks for the trial lens to arrive and STILL they don't have them and don't know whats going on... REALLY??? Come on! On Oct. 29th was our appointment and they say they will call in 7-10 business days with the trial pair which would have been Nov. 13th why is it DEC. 14th and still they don't have them and NEVER called stating why. But I have to keep calling to hear the excuses... GOD help me be MORE patient cause I'm about to l... read more

This is for the one on Oriana Rd. in N.N., VA. One of the worst experiences I have had in 50 some years of wearing glasses. The exam was good. But when I picked up my glasses was terrible. I was a little nervous with covid when I picked out my glasses. The assistant told me they looked fine. Today when I picked them up I noticed they were to big for my face. She tried to adjust them and broke them. She found the display pair and changed the arm out, with the sticky from the label on them. I ask her if it could be cleaned, sh... read more

I recommend the My EYE Dr. in Milledgeville, Ga. I was very impressed with their tech Christa Hinkley. She was very knowledgeable and educated me through the entire appointment. I give her 5 stars! Thank you for such a great experience for my nephew!

Although the staff has always been extremely helpful and accommodating, I find it very inconvenient and bad business practices that the process of picking up glasses is not explained after you order your glasses and when they send you a text informing you that your glasses are ready, there are no details provided regarding that fact that you have to make an appointment to pick them up.
