I was recommended to MyEyeDr. by my insurance company. I had to wait. I felt that I was just an annoyance to them. They were supposed to contact me when my glasses were ready. I got one pair. The second ? They told me, that they had to call the lab. Why? Because they were, supposedly on back order. The only reason I got my first pair, is because I kept calling them. I filed a complaint. In Hamden, CT: our insurance company recommended this location since they participated in our plan, several years ago. The original OD that examined our eyes was wonderful, Dr Blake. He made the visit very worthwhile. The past 3-4 years they have not had a consistent OD. The one we saw in 12/20 was abrupt and intolerant of questions asked, the exam lasted only 15 mins at most. The staff is yet another story entirely. They don’t do cardiac surgery at this location but they act like they do. The opticians are always “too busy”... read more

I have been waiting 3 weeks for my daughter's glasses and to date they still do not confirm when they will deliver it to me, this is too long considering the difficulty my daughter has to see. This was in New Haven

Called in November to schedule an appointment and once I got an answer my information was taken down and I was told someone else would call back to schedule an appointment BUT I NEVER GOT A CALL BACK so I then proceeded to book their next available appointment which was January 12th online ( keep in mind that I booked this appointment on December 7th). I went to the Crawfordville, FL location for the first time today. The staff were all very kind and helpful. I can’t remember the receptionist’s name, however, she helped me tremendously by comparing different price options and finding the most cost efficient solution for contacts and glasses. The assistant, Brian, was incredibly nice and cheerful. The optometrist was even a funny guy! I enjoyed my visit. I had a long day, and was a bit hangry, so their kindness was extra appreciated today.

So, I’ve been waiting almost three months for an appointment. Today is finally the day that I’ll be able to see again! I’ve recently moved to a midnight shift and find with the reduced light my vision suffered horribly. Well, I just got a call that “the doctor isn’t in today.” Understandable, things happen. Problem is, the earlier I can be rescheduled is February 26th!!!! There are three locations in Tallahassee, Florida. The Mandeville, LA location used to be St. Charles vision and they were great. NOT ANYMORE! Dr. Cook is great, but the guy working up front is horrible at customer service. He is Mr. Standard Operating Procedure with zero service skills. Dr. Cook needs to inform him that we can take our business elsewhere. This guy is literally driving away your customers. I prefer polo frames, but they stopped stocking them in store, so every year they would find me some online and order them for me. NOT ANYMORE! Mr. SOP said he can’t do th... read more
