Open since 1919, this classic restaurant was long the bastion of Hollywood industry power dining. With the look and feel of a private Men's club, Musso & Frank Grill rose to fame in the Golden Years of Hollywood, when Irving Thalberg, Clark Gable and the Marx Brothers were among its most celebrated clients. Nowadays, it is still considered the home of the finest dry martini in town. The Filet Mignon is hard to beat and the service is perfect, with just a touch of attitude. If you are not in the mood for beef, try the succule... read more

In for business and had a free night with the girls. We walked the star of fame and were starving. We went to three other places and looked at menu and had a drink and left. Did a google search and this little gem showed up. It was one of the best decisions we made. We had no reservations, but they welcomed us and said we only have 4 seats in the bar. The food was excellent. The filet (medium rare) could have been cut we a butter knife. The sides of roasted asparagus(searved with a side of Hollandaise and loaded baked potato... read more
The service and food was exceptional, our group was from out of state and just stumbled upon restaurant, glad we did! Best meal we had entire trip.
Great experience with a wonderful waiter named Johnny who answered all our questions about this restaurant and served our food flawlessly. The steaks and salmon were prepared superbly...I highly recommend.
Steak, soups, appetizers... everything was fantastic! Pricy, but definitely a place we will return to. Eating at the bar near the grill was fun... watching the food get grilled
Legendary Hollywood haunt. A must see experience for any fan of old Hollywood watering holes.
You just have to go! I was raised on old school supper clubs and this just brings me back! Prices really aren't bad for what you get just ala cart so don't over order! Service one in a million. Nastalgia cant be beat! Food simple but delicious!!!!! Go Go Go!!! In forgettable experience! I like to sit and eat there and just think about who was in my seat 100 years ago kind of humbling in a way!
Been going to Musso & Frank's for about 65 years. It's as good as ever, our "special event" birthday tradition. As a Hollywood native, I love to see some of the "Old Hollywood" hangouts still surviving...No, THRIVING!
The BEST restaurant in LA by a country mile! I recommend the mash potatoes, creamed spinach and the tomato soup... and the apple martini!
