I rented a property managed by Murray and Currie in 2024. I found that the agency was decent and responsive to emails and inquiries. I appreciated that the flat was in good condition when we moved in and that the process to transfer my tenancy was smooth and efficient. Overall one of the least stressful tenancies I experienced during my time in Edinburgh.

I am extremely disappointed with the way this agency has handled my tenancy change, and I feel compelled to leave this review after repeated attempts to resolve the matter amicably. With only five days left before the current tenant leaves, absolutely no paperwork has been completed. Despite the urgency, I have been asked to pay a deposit without having a contract in place — which is both unprofessional and unacceptable. Excellent moving-in experience. A few maintenance issues reported, dealt with very quickly. No fuss, nothing delayed or dragged out, easy peasy
