The theater had provided great sound but I cannot stand seated venues. Bishop Briggs killed it but the venue made it seem so dead and awkward.
I love this place. I've seen at least 20 shows here and have never had a bad experience. The staff has always been helpful and friendly. The location has tons of options for a before and/or after cocktail. The building is beautiful and the acoustics in the theatre and Egyptian room are great. Parking can be a challenge, but when is that not the case when you're downtown?
2nd row, orchestra pit, Band of Horses, was a rocking good time. 2nd row was awesome but it does have some disadvantages. Cramped like sardine's and could not hear Ben's voice for the life of me.
Took 45 minutes to get through security which made us 30 minutes late to the show. Ridiculous and probably will not use this theater again.
The lines to get in were so long! Two events on the same night, presumably at the same time. The Egyptian room was packed >tightly< with chairs. It was very difficult moving out from your seat. I had a wrist band but had to show my id when I ordered a drink.
Attended the LOCASH show last night. What a great place! Staff were all very attentive and helpful. Only thing that would have made it a little better would be seating, somewhere, for these concerts. Just somewhere to rest your feet for a few minutes, even if not in the main hall. I was on my feet for almost 6 hours. Folding chairs, at least, would have been nice for the VIP experience before the show.
The sound crew did a great job 4 our band when we played there on 11/12/16. They took good care of us! A+ venue. ~Underground Groove
Saturday was my second experience at the center in a month. I will definitely be coming back. It's a great venue. The assurance from security that we are safe is greatly appreciated especially since I'm a parent.
