I am in Indianapolis once a year and I always find time to go to Speedway to have lunch at Mug N' Bun! They have the best onion rings I've ever had! The food is great, the service is always very friendly, and the root beer is fantastic!
Well... I ordered ahead for carry out and still waited 10 minutes. The tenderloin was a cheap, thin frozen patty. Wasn't very tasty. I ordered my fries crispy and they were mush. They also tasted like they had been cooked in very old oil. Highly disappointed! The root beer was good though. That's the only thing. I'm the worlds most non picky eater as well. I won't be back.

Not the same as when we were younger! We are 66, so many of the people don't remember the way it used to be! The root beer is still good, the tenderloin is just a large pork fritter, not the tenderloin they used to serve! Really disappointed!
Fantastic just like I was back in the 70's the root beer was cold and great

Mug n bun is my guilty pleasure. Root beer floats, cheese balls, & a loaded coney dog please. Always great,fast, & friendly service! & their pizza is delish too ❤️
The best comfort food in indy service is great make sure you being cash for tipping can't tip on credit card
