Set in a lovely old two-story home on a quiet tree-lined street, its two wood-paneled bars brim with hospitality, and its two dining rooms, an intimate non-smoking room with bare stone walls and a larger room designed like an indoor gazebo serve first-rate meals. The bars offer a buffet from 5pm-7pm weekdays and the kitchen's seafood specialties, such as Mahi-mahi topped with Lump Crab meat are both creative and flavorful.

RecommendedI’ve not been to the Tavern since it was renovated, and went tonight with friends and it was beautiful, a little loud but otherwise a nice friendly ambience.
Y’all. If y’all go in after 9p on a Sunday and sit in the back room, you can eat your dinner with a Mouse that walks around like he lives there. When you tell dude behind the bar, he’ll walk over and just look at it. It was like an inconvenience for dude. I mean, the mouse seems like it could be a cool friend, but I’m not sure that I’m cool with him being a dinner guest. Definitely be back every weekend ..
First they made us move to the back room because the bartender in the front couldn’t handle working alone, then our server was annoyed when we didn’t order dinner and told him that we had only planned to hang out at the bar. We did order food, but service was very slow and food is overpriced. Would not recommend.
Good crowd and great service
We had our wedding reception in the Chesapeake room. Mary and her team did an amazing job. The food was exceptional and the staff was very attentive. Couldn’t have asked for a better evening. We highly recommend them.
The only restaurant on earth that serves a Cobb salad without an ounce of avocado 🥑?????!
