In an ideal world, every neighborhood would have a tavern like this. Set in a lovely old two-story home on a quiet tree-lined street, its two wood-paneled bars brim with hospitality, and its two dining rooms, an intimate non-smoking room with bare stone walls and a larger room designed like an indoor gazebo serve first-rate meals. The bars offer a buffet from 5pm-7pm weekdays and the kitchen's seafood specialties, such as Mahi-mahi topped with Lump Crab meat are both creative and flavorful.

It was one of the worse customer service experiences of my entire life. The waiter was down right disrespectful and rude. I will never go back. Chris the waiter needs to be fired.
The atmosphere was good however the food was mediocre. Very pricey & the beer was flat. Our steamed shrimp & crab cakes were on the dry side too. Think they need new chefs and some lower prices.
great local beer. best grilled cheese. great place.
We had calamari and nacho appetizers and both were very good and plentiful. We couldn’t eat it all. Also had a very good beer — Old Hilltop.
Had a birthday mixer in the SkyBar area. The event planner gave me free reservations for the fireplace area and also supplied table cloths to make my day nicer. I had a party of about 40 people and asked for an additional table so we could all sit together, but was declined. I was disappointed because I saw online pics with the same set up, but ohhhh well....it was free reservations. We spent a lot of money so I thought considerations could have been made. Other than that, it was a nice, friendly, mixed environment. The staf... read more
Sadly I had a horrible experience with a staff member named Mike who honestly might be the manager. I was there for a work sponsored event where I was told we had the “sky bar” reserved. As it started to rain my group of colleges and I went inside to the bar area. The only table available had a sign saying it was reserved at 6pm. At that time Is was 515. After about 10 minutes Mike came to our table and asked us if we were aware of the sign and the time conflict at 6. We assured him we would be gone at 6. He then proceeded t... read more
Went here tonight for happy hour but ended up leaving early because of how poor the service was. The food took nearly an hour. The bartender (blonde hair, pink shirt) was exceptionally rude and condescending. You would think that for the amount of money we spent there they would show appreciation by being decent at least - no. Also, I witnessed Michael, someone who I assumed was the manager, harassing a table about something (VERY trivial) at least 4 times. Every person I came in contact with lacked professionalism and tact.... read more
