Set in a lovely old two-story home on a quiet tree-lined street, its two wood-paneled bars brim with hospitality, and its two dining rooms, an intimate non-smoking room with bare stone walls and a larger room designed like an indoor gazebo serve first-rate meals. The bars offer a buffet from 5pm-7pm weekdays and the kitchen's seafood specialties, such as Mahi-mahi topped with Lump Crab meat are both creative and flavorful.

Walked out for the last time. Thrilled. Service SUCKS. KC Pats game, main bar, bartender was just too busy to break away. Never going back but gladly spread the work. Service SUCKS.

I have always enjoyed Mt. Washington Tavern’s food and service and will continue to recommend them; HOWEVER, yesterday was not the best. Our server told us it had been a horrible day for her, and this continued during our meal. She was not prompt in attending to our table and admittedly keyed one order in incorrectly to the computer. Of course, we had to wait additional time for this to arrive to our table. One order was served without a main ingredient.....this was due to the kitchen staff and not our server. Horrible customer service. we ordered through door dash, food was not ready when our dasher arrived. she waited and was basically told that take out orders are not their priority. the manager did not care that the food was supposed to be ready 40 minutes earlier. they were unorganized, slow and rude. we will never order from them sgain.

We are sorry about your order. However the issue lies with your 3rd party provider. Since the day we signed up with these hucksters we haven't been able to get a rep on the phone to talk about their faulty equipment or a host of other issues. Closest we can get is a call center in East Asia that is intended for Customer complaints. Someone mumbles a promise that a representative will be in touch in 48 hours and no such call ever comes. Great food and Atmosphere!
Dinner this evening was horrible and not edible. The General Manager “Mike” was no better. He would rather argue and give excuses for the food. The Tavern is just not what it was three years ago. Something has gone wrong there.
