I had a replacement knee twenty months ago, now my knee is fine and no pain and am able to walk many miles with no problem at all and consider myself fit for discharge.
Mr Maholkar, is, what can I say, a brilliant surgeon - please note, this is MY experience and opinion with Mr Maholkar and his team. I had my right knee done at Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham under the care of Mr Maholkar and his team. Excellent care under Mr Moholkar. From the initial consultation and diagnosis of knee replacement through to the operation itself, care was second to none. The operation went very well and the aftercare too at The Droitwich Spa Hospital was wonderful. All of the staff were so helpful and caring. I am delighted with the outcome. Finally signed off by Mr Moholkar last week. Would thoroughly recommend Mr Moholkar and his team. Thanks to all, you’re amazing!
Right knee perfectly functioning. Left knee occasional twinge on inner side of patella barely negligible. I feel comfortable when walking, climbing stairs etc. Extremely happy with the surgery and progress.
