You get a 2 ONLY because you are located less than 3 minutes from my home. The level of dissaray, disorganization and dysfunction is on a scale rarely witnessed in an ER in the civilized world.
Boutique ordering sounds good but very confusing and extremely limited choices for patients on cardiac or other special diet. Hospital just give one menu and just says cardio patients cannot order 40-60 of all menu items. Then today was insult to injury. Ordered oatmeal with milk -soy, of course. Tray came in an hour and a half, but no milk. Wait again to get thru to operator. They sent milk and a new, hot oatmeal, which turned out to be cream of wheat soup. Not the same. My wife has been coming to Mountain Veiw for over two years. Only recently has the service been lacking. My wife had a shunt placed in on the 03/24/2015 at Mountain View, I took her back to the ER on the 29th for pain. The ER was a mad house staff moving around with no commutation with each other. We arrived at 1:20 PM and she was not seen in triage til 2:24pm. We currently waiting while she is in intense pain. Woow most horrible hospital I have ever been to!! I was there today with my mom for 4hrs for the doctor to tell her that she was fine!! When it was obvious that she was coughing constantly! Doctor didn't even look at the test results before talking to my mom, had no idea what was wrong with her!! Horrible hospital!!!

My son is currently in the er at mountain view waiting for a bed. Been in er since 10am yesterday. Spend the night in a recliner sitting in the hall way. The nurse he had last night bordered on abusive!!!. Staff has been rude to my daughter in law. When I called this morning not only was the ER staff rude but switch board operator as well. I have worked in an acute care hospital for more than 20 years and NEVER had an experience like this. Lord help us if we are depending on these people in our time of need!!.
