Our room had an amazing view but the flag pole above the room made so much noise we needed to switch rooms. The staff were very accommodating but acknowledged the fact that we weren't the first to complain about the noise from the flags and still haven't removed it. When we went down to the restaurant for dinner they asked us for our reservation, which we didn't have, and they seemed to make a big deal about not having room for us. They found a table in the middle of the empty restaurant which remained mostly empty throughou... read more

We went for dinner 11/7. Arrived at 5:30pm and was asked if we had reservations. We did not and were seated in a room with a large party having themselves a great time. (very noisy). We were also a party of four and put at a table for two. Looking across the room we saw another dining room with only a few couples and many empty tables. Our dinner was so so. The salmon was under cooked. By the time it was corrected, the others at our table were done eating. Have to say, our waiter was the best. We, as being locals, are always... read more

We only stayed at the Mountain View Grand for one night but we wish it had been longer. We stayed in a "king vista" room and I will admit the view could have been better, as the room overlooked the hvac system. But the rest of the hotel MORE than makes up for it. The service was great, views are second to none, the spa is dreamy, and there are always activities running like making apple cider or throwing an ax! This is a beautiful full-service hotel, without feeling stuck up, and we will absolutely be back

There are many resorts in the White Mountains. If you refused access to a service dog on your property as alleged, I and many of my friends, will be choosing from the others.

Shame on you! Why would you SCREAM at a little girl with a service dog? I would never come here.

On September 26 we visited your property. We were doing so for multiple reasons. One to stop and have lunch and two, to look at your property as a potential for a future vacation site. As your manager, Chris Diego is aware, we had a very unfortunate encounter regarding access with Bella's Service Dog, George. As we were SCREAMED at from across a parking lot regarding my 10 year old daughters Service dog. What is even more unfortunate is the fact that this was brought to his attention and yet here almost a month later, we hav... read more

Sad to say not so grand anymore... . This was our 3rd visit and this visit was to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary. We immediately noticed a difference in service upon arrival. We went to the bar to have a drink & bite to eat shortly after arriving. The service was terrible! We must have waited 20+ minutes just to be acknowledged by the bartender. There were only a couple of parties in the tavern at the time so there was no reason for the wait. The bartender seemed to l...Continue Reading

My husband & I recently celebrated our 10 year Wedding Anniversary at your truly grand hotel. From the minute we arrived, we felt like Royalty! We are not wealthy folk, but we were treated as though we were! Breathtaking views, beautiful foliage and a million dollar sunset on Thursday night!

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GO TO THIS RESORT. Checking in went smoothly until we got to our room and that is when everything went bad. 1. Our pillows were stained with blood. 2. There was bugs, spiders and fly's through out the room which I had to kill more than 5 times. 3. The A/C DID not work, on one of the hottest days of the summer. 4. The A/D also smelt like burning electrical which had us not able to use it because the smell was horrible. 5. The food was horrible, and overpriced. When checking out I spoke to the director o... read more
