The MVG was absolutely a beautiful venue for a wedding. The hotel is very historical and provides numerous opportunities for visitors. The spectacular view of the mountains are awesome!! It's the perfect destination for a trip. NEW HAMPSHIRE is a fabulous state to visit. The MVG exceeded MY expectations!! The staff was exceptional and very cordial!! I already would like to visit again.
Absolutely beautiful building and grounds with incredible views. We enjoyed the variety of activities -\-\ history tour, bingo, the movie theater and game room, campfire with s'mores, and axe throwing. Enjoyed riding in the old elevator and going to the top of the spa tower. Wonderful setting! Enjoyed dining with their excellent staff. Loved access to the farm animals and enjoyed getting education from the resident farmer. Will definitely visit again!

Just had our wedding here & everything was amazing! The staff here have been absolutely wonderful, couldn't have asked for a better location.
Fantastic getaway destination...no need to leave! Restaurants, bar, pools, spa, beautiful lobby with fireplace...even a small movie theater!! We come twice a year.
First let me say this historical hotel was very charming and fascinating, and I loved all the displays of historical artifacts. I had a Groupon so saved a few dollars on he room. We arrived extremely late on a Friday night so I appreciated the 24/7 front desk. The front desk guy was very nice, and he called a nice bellhop to help me get bags out of car, to my room, and offered valet parking service. Came up here for a belated anniversary get away. The scenery, the staff, the old time charm of the hotel? It's more than I could have hoped. Absolutely breathtaking.
Friendly staff, beautiful location overlooking all the mountains. I would have given it a 5 if the rooms were a little more sound proof and if my therapist had asked me how much pressure I like and if I had any problem areas. She just seemed a little rushed
