The weekend staffing don't care about their patients and only care about their social lives, I had the unfortunate thing happened to me, I broke my right ankle and sprained my left ankle on a Sunday morning the morning staff was average and the evening was good but the night staff was the worst i see anywhere in my 64 years of life especially a nurse named AMANDA the most heartless nurse ever
I love how we've been admitted since last night and have yet to see a doctor. I love how the nurses in the ER were sitting and laughing talking about their dating life and yet hardly checked on their patients. I love how we asked if we could have more IV fluids after 3 hours from finishing the last bag and it took until midnight to get a new bag. I love how the doctors can't figure out what's wrong and yet they still never came in to actually see their patient. I love how clean this place is I have pics to prove my point. Th... read more

I gave birth to my son at this hospital this past Friday. The overall experience was ok. The hospital in itself is very nice. What I felt was missing was the personal welcoming tone, especially to women who just delivered a baby. All the nurses did their job, but there was no personality. During my stay, I met only one. On my last day, I waited a very long time to be discharged, I was walked to the front door and the car was not even checked for s car seat. My daughter is six and I delivered her at LIJ. Excellent nurse care, excellent pain management, excellent food, and an excellent neurosurgeon. I am very pleased with this hospital's treatment of patients—a total 180° from other Long Island hospitals where I was an inpatient.
What a wonderful experience, Everyone was so genuine and caring.They treated the patient with the absolute best care.The E2 unit deserves to be acknowledged for what they do.Knee replacement went well,aftercare set up and explained. Nurses were fantastic. I've been to Several hospitals and this one is top notch.only thing missing is a cafeteria I've been here for days and only was able to eat from the gift shop.Also patients need better toothpaste. Lol
Just wanted to say thank you to all the nurses in labor and delivery for taking care of me and my baby girl , you guys are amazing
