When a person goes into the ER with an injury that is causing breathing issues, they shouldn't have to wait over 3.5 hours before being seen by a medical professional. I thought that was terrible.
Today I was discharged from South Nassau and I couldn't wait to get home to write up a review. My experience there was absolutely remarkable as I was treated very well by the wonderful staff members. They were professional and nurturing. The nurses and dietary staff especially were accommodating and showed compassion. They made me feel at home when I was at most vulnerable. Thank you 😊 for everything. My recovery has begun on a positive note .
Nurses were very caring ,compassionate and understanding. My surgeon Dr. Bolognese is the best around. I came from Florida just to have surgery by him. I have a rare condition he specializes in (Arnold Chiari and EDS). I had a blood patch done at bedside by one of the docs there that went wrong, but it was corrected a few days later by an interventional radiologist. He was very knowledge. Amazing hospital to give birth in , my sister gave birth and they didn't take the baby from her not even once , she was able to stay with her the whole time. Most hospital take the babies for hours then give it to the mother
The emergency room is less than stellar. Patients are left waiting for hours upon hours for medical attention, regardless of their level of illness or pain. A man had to have a grand mal seizure in the waiting room before anyone took him seriously. Less than caring or professional.
A wonderful visit & hospital experience. Courteous staff, a clean & safe environment.
From my first interactions with the intake nurses to the nice orderly whom wheeled me out to my ride, everyone was polite and professional. It made a what could have been a bad day enjoyable.
