I can't say enough wonderful things about the hospital and the staff here at South Nassau Communities Hospital. Such a calm, caring, compassionate atmosphere. Everyone that I've come in contact with from the valet to the doctors have been attentive and courteous. Everyone from admissions, pre-surgical testing, radiology, the OR, PACU, ICU, and the neurosurgical floor were nothing short of friendly, compassionate and gentle. The aides and nurses are the best! My client was there , miserable experience Nurses let's patients sit in their own piss and �, misdiagnosis this not being the first time, Lack of compassion , your hospital needs work !

Needs improvements. Slept there 2 nights in a chair next to my son only to realize down the hall there where recliners. No offer of blankets were ever made. After being without food for 3 days dr orders. His first meal was salmon. REALLY. Finally the room was never cleaned in 3 days.
