Make the trip it is so worth it!!! We got caught in a storm BUT still had fun. Make sure you try the ice cream!!
This is a beautiful place to visit night and day. I especially liked it at night with all the lights on the flags and faces.

This is one of the most awesome places in the world. We were amazed how these brave men could do the work of art at such height with the limited tools that were offered when this was done..a MUST see..

It's a great work of art. I was disappointed that there was no mention of the native people's that were displaced or the mention of all the gold. There was also no mention as to why the monument was erected in the Black hills and not somewhere else. It's a beautiful place and a fun walk.
Absolutely stunning! Pictures don't do it justice. I'm glad I finally got to see it in person.
