Walked the Presidential Trail with the audio tour. Highly informative and worth the $5 rental. There are a large number of stairs, but several resting points if you become winded. I too went to the night lighting show. Very patriotic but kids could become bored easily.

Mount.Rushmore is so incredible. The monument is awe-inspiring and such a testament to what makes America so great!! The facilities are likewise incredible. The Presidential trail tour is wonderful. The amplitheeater is awesome. The museum is incredible. On top of all that, the design of the facilities is so great. Everything is so well thought out and executed. We had the best time. Our kids got the grandure and significance. Make the trip!!! You will never forget it.

Loved it, very beautiful! You don't realize how amazing it is until you see it in person! All employees and staff are very friendly. It's a great piece of American history!
