The 60-foot-tall (18-meter-tall) faces of four of America's greatest presidents - George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln - look down from their lofty perch above the luxuriant forests of the Black Hills. Remarkable in their likeness to the presidents, Mount Rushmore is as much a monumental artistic marvel as it is a cultural gem. These four presidents were chosen by the artist himsel... read more

This my first to visit Mount Rushmore Memorial. Coming from other country (Philippines), we only see this historic site from the book or poster. I had a great experience visiting. It goes beyond my expectation. Five star for this site!

Great monument. Nice hike in front of the monument that gets you closer than the viewing platforms. Eating/food selections are excellent !

Very impressive! Even at the moment one is getting closer to the mount. The night ceremony is amazing and very inspiring.

It was really neat to see the monument in person for the first time. I've seen them in books and magazines but nothing beats seeing it in person!

I've been coming to Mt. Rushmore since I was a little kid in the early 1980's. I travel a lot and It's absolutely one of my favorite places on earth! The cost is more than fair to help pay for the facilities on site: $11 per car. $5 off if you have a senior citizen with you... Parking is super easy. BUDGET MORE TIME THAN YOU THINK YOU WILL NEED. There's a lot to take in. I would recommend heading down t... read more

We came to see this iconic place the 5th of July thinking it might be less crowded than on the 4th of July. Wrong! Even though it was crowded we enjoy all of it. The movie is a must see as are the exhibits.

Mt Rushmore is awesome. If you have not seen Stone Mountain in Atlanta it is awesome also. If you see Crazy Horse in SD you will have seen all the big ones. I don't think l will live long enough to see Crazy Horse finished but I hope I do.
