YOU CANNOT TRUST MOTORHOME DEPARTMENT We handed our Hobby 700 Motorhome over to Motorhome Department on 20th February 2024 to sell on our behalf and signed their contract. He sold our Vehicle and it was paid for and collected in early April 2024. The owner of MHD, Chris Blackwell then kept and spent our money. I bought a vw auto sleeper trident i had no problems with Chris from start to finish it was first class and professional the van was fully serviced and all jobs were done Chris was a very nice guy and I would have no problem going back to him to do another deal
What a lovely chap to deal with. Chris took our Autotrail to sell for us, committed to a price he would give us when it sold which which we were happy with. The service and habitation check was also completed which made the whole transaction very easy. It sold very quickly and Chris managed to exceed the price he originally thought. We are very happy.
I would have given no stars if possible. Our motorhome was sold by this business nearly 2 years ago. We had to chase them for payment and ended up receiving our money in instalments and are still waiting for £3000. Have got solicitors involved but still haven’t received the full amount. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY- THEY ARE NOT TRUSTWORTHY!!
