A tradition for NOLA that continues to keep going with quality food
A local told us this place was over rated @ i somewhat agree. Food was good but the hospatality needs improvement.
A unique and historic eatery. Ambience and character galore! Flavorful meats, perfect grits and the best biscuit I’ve ever had!
The food was very good! The waiter was a cool local with proper southern manners. All in all we had a great time and meal.
Everything was wonderful! It’s good old fashioned home cooking from down south. Some people have posted about staff being rude and they aren’t! They are there to get you in, get you fed and get you out! No need to hang around the restaurant when you have all the city to see!! If you want a classy 5-star sit down restaurant where you overpay for everything then this is not your place. If you want an amazing poboy that’s quick (even though the line looks long) and it’s afordable and taste awesome then this is your place!!

We had the Crawfish Etouffee omelette and the Famous Ferdi Special. We were both very happy with our food! The omelette was amazing!
Waited in line outside. Waited in line inside. Limited breakfast menu. Seemed like grits was the only side.
This food was awesome a true blessing from God himself. Miss. Pat gave us great service. The gumbo was sooo good. Biscuits soft and on point. I would visit here each trip to Nawlins
