Rude staff at the front. The hostess at the door is very rude, the only guys that are nice there are the bus boys and they are hospitable, the cashiers are distasteful, you have to go there with a defensive attitude.
Nice, messy sandwich of turkey and beef dipped in jus.
We look forward to eating here at least once when we are in New Orleans. We plan it out. Amazing and friendly staff. Which is part of the charm.

For the lines to be as long as they were all day I knew the food had to be good. We braved the long line after the game and it was so well worth the wait! The food was simply amazing!!! We loved everything we ordered!
I had the combo platter, and I tell you it tasted just like the food my mom made, growing up. This will always be a stop for me when I come to New Orleans. Just homestyle food, no frills and fuss. Makes me miss my Louisiana roots.
