Cold pancake!!! Waitress said she would get me another pancake but forgot about me. Came back later and said she was sorry she forgot about me .....but by then my husband was almost done with his breakfast. We stopped by Ruby Slipper on the way back to the hotel to get me something to eat. We should have went there to begin with. Everyone told me Mother's wasn't that great.....they were right!!!
It was our 1st time there to have breakfast together.... the basic breakfast was good and was tasty too...
Like home cooked creole/Cajun food. Fast and friendly. Ordering is a little odd. But it was good.
It takes a few minutes to understand you wait in line, hurry up to place your order, pay then have a seat and wait for your food, but the food was worth it. Boiled shrimp, turnip greens, red beans and rice and shrimp etouffe! Omg it was heavenly! Portions are generous and prices are very good.
Great food and great service. Recommend the shrimp and oyster Po Boy.
My red beans and rice were to die for. And the Jambalaya was even better it was our first and time and there will be more to come. GALVAN ALBA Family from Ft Worth Tx
Unbelievably good!...had the Ralph with swiss...man oh man....I'm a bariatric and it took me 2 days to finish. The whole time I wanted to just keep on enjoying this decadent deliciousness....make Mother's one of your hunger stops while in the Big Easy!
Not impressed with the gumbo at all. Heard I should have gotten ham. WTH? Ham? Really.
The food was great!!!! I will be back when I'm back in the NO!
