Had heard about a big renovation but didn't see it. While a unique location, the boat is tired--from dirty bathrooms, to carpets that need cleaning to doors that need painting. We had a wonderful party 7 years ago at this facility and was considering it for a wedding, but no longer. The good is good, the view is fabulous, but the boat needs a lot of TLC.

Nancy, thank you for sharing your feedback. The boat is only half renovated. The entire outside and decks are completed including painting, new tent structures, and furniture. We recently relaunched The Deck as new outdoor dining, drinking and entertainment venue. The restrooms and State Room are the only interior spaces that have been finished so far. Stay tuned!
The food was good. But the service sucked. The waiter tried to sit us in a corner with no light. The tables weren't cleared. The waiter took forever to give us our drinks...our food...and our checks. For the price of the food you would think the service would be better. I don't think I will go back.

This restaurant was our "go to" spot because we always knew that no matter what, we could rely on the Moshulu for a delicious meal. Very DISAPPOINTED with the food and service. And George our waiter was horrendous. The tuna tartare was chewy and just awful. Not sure what has happened to this restaurant but what a shame for such a great location and atmosphere. We will NOT COME BACK to the Moshulu again. Sad that our last memory is so bad.
