Very professional and knowledgeable
I WAS ROBBED of well over $5,000 worth of jewelry at St. Joseph's. I was taken to the hospital ER unconscious and due to COVID-19 my husband couldn't be with me. When I regained consciousness I realized my jewelry was gone. Reports were filed with security and I spoke to multiple people about what happened. St. Joseph's made it clear that would not accept any responsibility. You would think that you are safe in a hospital but apparently not...

As a emt, amt, and one time a orderly, this was the worst emergency room that I have experienced. Going in as victim of severe back pain, the treatment was sub par at best. After giving a pain shot I was totally ignored. Requested a bedpan, never came .call button was not reachable. After finally getting out of the bed at the end,I went to the main station in the middle and confronted the idiot nurse about the pan and the button, he said there is a public bathroom down the hall. Superior Hospital with a Superior Staff.
I can’t speak for the hospital, but the ER is the absolute worst. If I am ever critical and that is the closest place, I will exercise my DNR and refuse transport. I do hope someone from the hospital sees this... I will be happy to share details.
