We had our Alpine 4 then our Cabrera van 7.3 mtr length parked on this site two years ago and it was a nightmare driving down the track (one van wide) then reversing into the pitch even with a motor mover. The picture on Google maps is not what the whole site looks like. It gets very narrow down a non tarmac track. We gave up eventually and moved to a coastal site at Lynemouth. So much bigger and open all days all year. £270 per year. Sorry because it was handy for us.

Good facility, hard roads , some hard standing pitches, though mainly on grass which may create difficulties when wet. I never had any problems with a 6.5 meter motorhome, but just need to be careful and aware of soft ground and use appropriate equipment. Owners, Tansley and Andrew are lovely ,helpful people.

Good location. Helpful people. Costs about £27.50/month. It's a bit tight swinging into the parking space but it's doable with practice. Our parking space is on grass whereas a drained hard surface would be better for keeping damp away from the underside of the van? But overall, I'm happy 🙂
