I was in this place back in December and to this date 17 June no reports has been sent to me. I called today to find out what is happening as my sight test is soon and receptionist is telling me “ we can only finddd youuuu with your hospital number…seriously!! Last time you send me a letter was when? They send you an email to find out your appointment or change appointment. My appointment today for assessment for cataract surgery (Friday 24 Jan 2025) was the best experience I have ever had at an NHS hospital. All the numerous staff I saw were friendly, easy to talk to, and gave information about every procedure so I knew what would be done and why. I can't fault them - or praise them enough. "Simply the best". I came home feeling reassured and fully informed about by imminent cataract removal surgery.
