I think this place as a good example of what means to be an illustrated man. It helps to understand some aspects of american history. Really interesting!
Would have liked to have taken non flash pics. Worrh a visit.
It was a nice experience. Lots of renovation going on at this time though.
It was great! But very expensive, what about a sliding scale for families.

Monticello is really something else. The tour was fantastic. The grounds were phenomenal. I went in February so the gardens weren't really in bloom but I imagine that come spring, they are as grand as Monticello itself.
Very interesting place. House is fabulous & grounds are lovely.
