What an awesome "homestead" and an incredible man Thomas Jefferson was. He was a man who pursued knowledge and perfection in all that he did.
The tour guides and staff were professional and knowledgeable. They took questions and seemed to love the subject. Tours were fantastic!
My wife and I took in the house and garden tour. Very informative. We will go back do take in the rest of the plantantion. The staff was awesome and knowledgeable. Highly recommend to anyone.
Our tour guide, Robert, was wonderful. He explained everything in detail and told us what to look for in each room. He took the time to answer questions. I had always wanted to visit Monticello and was glad that we were finally able to go. The house and ingenious design was amazing. The grounds were so peaceful. I loved seeing the garden and the cemetery as well as the fish pond. Next time we go, I plan to take the behind the scenes tour. I feel it would be worth every penny of the ticket price.
For the number of visitors that come through they have a wonderful system that keeps things moving smoothly. You still have the last minute people who you get bumped for because they don't get to their place on time but other than that very well run and maintained. Well worth the time.
Beautiful location! Nothing there is mentioned about his Presidency but depicts parts of his personal life outside of him.beung President. Our guide was a little inaccurate but was a great tour none the less.
One of the best historic properties and history lessons you could ever hope to see
I want my money back......the people there have a twisted idea about our nations history.
It was busy being that it was Memorial Weekend, but still a great experience!
