Ate there once when I still lived in the armpit of Texas. Fitting, because of the stentch of this place. Food was forgetful. There is better Mexican food to find where I live now in Utah, which is a bit sad. Want good Tex-Mex in a friendly, clean environment in SETX? Go to Mi Pueblo.
Food tasted bad. Like something had spoiled. And the smell......Omg the smell. The server could have been more pleasant to top it off. Did I mention the smell?
Grew up eating at this restaurant since it opened. Love the food and the people.

Something needs to be done about the odor that hits you like a brick wall when you walk in and stays with you long after you walk out...we have been coming for years and the place has always had a old stale odor but as years went by its gotten worse...and on our visit yesterday it was horrible so sad to say it will most likely be our last visit to an old favorite. ...
Save your money and just got to Rafael's in Lumberton.

Outstanding service. Fresh, homemade daily from scratch queso dip. Fresh guacamole, too. Family atmosphere because this restaurant has been owned and run by the same family since the mid 50s. Shop "small, hometown business"! You will NOT be disappointed! ��
