My favourite Mexican place to eat!!!! The original first store by Sonic and old baptist hospital. It's was sad to see the Dowel Road Restaurant go away! It's was closer to me.

I love this place, best Mex food ever! Grew up eating it. Everything there is so good, the queso is awesome! No one makes Mexican food better than Monterry! Please start your chain back up again and come to Huntsville or Bryan Texas! :) Wish I knew why you shut them all down back then!

The company bought back all their franchises & changed the concept & recipes. Except for our original location on 11th Street. The corp. did not meet my parents price so they said we could ride out the contract. By that time they were defunct--customers come from all over to taste those original recipes. Chili con Queso is still the best ever.
The one on 11th street is the best.
