Monterey Bay Aquarium Great family destination...or, for us educators, an awesome field trip!!!!!!!! Many different activities are offered. Lto sto see! Play areas for the little ones and interesting exhibts for the mom and dad! Go there soon!

Lots to see I love visiting here, we can spend hours just roaming around enjoying all there is to see. It's always a joy to watch the otters swim and play. I really like the fact that you can get so close to nature here.

l this aquarium was great and located in a great area, so there was stuff to do after my visit. If you are able to, try to catch some shows, like shark feeding time, where a scuba diver feeds the sharks and the fish in the tank. I also enjoyed the feel pool, where for example you can touch rays and sea cucumbers

so much aquarium, so little time This is an excellenent aquarium in a really fun part of town. Though the fee to get in the aquarium is a little steep, once you get in you can see that they put all that money to good use. There are presentations and animal feedings all through out the day. There are interactive displays and a huge hands on section aimed towards kids upstairs. There are currently two excellent exhibits down stairs. Jellyfish The Monterey Bay Aquarium is a fun place to visit. It is a little over an hour drive from San Jose. The jellyfish exhibit is captivating. I recommend that your bring your own lunch and go eat it outside and while gazing at a beautiful view of the Monterey Bay.

Incredible aquarium Monterey bay Aquarium is a wonderful place to take the entire family. Everyone loves to watch the sea otters frolicking in teh huge two story tank. The kelp tank is an amazing tank to see the sea life of the Monterey Bay. An added benefit..schools are able to take field trips. The High School field trip was a behind the scenes interactive tour where they actually learned about the sea life.

Fantastic Aquarium I was not initially stoked to visit this aquarium, having spent ample time in aquariums on the east coast and figured this place to be a display of the more bland variety. Then they obtained the Great White Shark. My boyfriend needed to see it, and I was convinced to go. Gladly so. This is a beautiful aquarium with wonderful marine habitats and a plethora of information and opportunities to learn about the marine environment. Monterey Bay Aquarium The Monterey Bay Aquarium is a must see if you are ever in Monterey, Ca. When we took our kids they just loved it! There is lots to see in the aquarium itself, and lots of good shops nearby too. It makes for a great day!

One of the best aquariums I've been to This is a great aquarium. It ranks up there with the one in Baltimore and maybe one other. What makes Monterey Bay so great is that they don't just display a variety of sea creatures but they also talk about them, try to teach you more about the habitats, and lucky for the people that live in the area they show the very rich and diverse ecosystem of Monterey Bay. I was lucky enough to see the great white shark they had in captivity and I'll never forget how she glided through the water.... read more
