im in the e.r. as i write this message and on a whole ,for a hospital,this place is filthy from the corridors to the bathroom,absolute mess. there is literal trash on the floor in the waiting room and there is an unpleasent odor to match. why is it this way in an enviornment that is supposed to promote and practice the exact opposite of what i see? i believe there is an agenda in all inner city hospitals and this is part of it,lack of respect for facility and patients where the majority are "black" or "hispanic".
RecommendedApril 18, 2018 I had my knee replacement Doctors and nurses were great.My experience there was a good one and I will recommend it for anyone that needs to have surgery. Good luck and Speedy recovery.

Psychological department at Montefiore is a joke! DO NOT BOTHER WASTING YOUR TIME GOING HERE!! After waiting months for my appointment (even though they claimed they'll call and make an appointment within 2 weeks) I recieved a call asking to come a day sooner and I agreed but I made it very clear it is imperative I leave by 11am to pick up my daughter. The receptionist assured me it will be arranged. I arrived at 9:47am and signed in. At 10:15 I asked what was the hold up and was told my appointment wouldn't start till 10:30... read more
