The front desk staff at the location is grossly incompetent. Telling them your symptoms and that you’re asthmatic and a diabetic and you have a nagging persistent issue goes over their heads. They put you off for a week and then schedule an appointment another week later. Keep you in hold for over 30 minutes and then come to the line and “accidentally” hang up on you. A little late to comment, but I want to make it clear that Montefiore Hosp has the worst medical care I’ve ever experienced. The physician team in the operating room was great; everything after was like third-world care. Nurses missing-in-action, hours in-between checkups, techs who didn’t know why I was there, uncleaned bedpans by my roommate, and so on. I made sure to let them know in the follow-up survey that their patient care was inferior to every other surgery I’ve had. And unfortunately, I’ve had too many of them.
Staff isn’t friendly and the hospital is out dated,very small and dirty.
answer your phones - i was on hold for a half hour trying to make an appointment before 4 pm. this is unheard of.
