Very helpful and nice. My machine was back to sewing in no time.
I went here first for a fix up on my serger. I bought my serger online, and since it was pre-owned, I wanted a whole tune up to make sure it is working as good as new. It took awhile to receive my machine, but when I did.. unfortunately it wasn't working at all. Timing was off and the nail plate was raised way too high compared to my teacher's sewing machine. Wonderful sales clerks, very knowledegable, Have bought about 10 machines over the past 30 years by upgrading.
I have had three older sewing machines serviced at Montavilla over the past few years and always found them to be very helpful re advice for older machines. Their prices were fair and their work was good. I will continue to count on them for help with my sewing machines. (Plus, they are very nice folks!)
The best place for service and for buying machines and supplies. When I retired I bought two machines: an embroidery sewing machine and a serger. Years later I upgraded to the latest models of each, getting great pricing and nice trade-in discounts. And most recently, we were able to get a very nice machine for our granddaughter as a wedding gift. Always plenty of classes and clubs available to grow and challenge your sewing creativity.
