I had a great experience with the Beaverton store as the "stay-at-home" had just gone into place and I really wanted a sewing machine. Shelley took quite a bit of time on the phone with me before I decided to purchase. They were really great about completing the transaction totally over the phone and then when I went to pick up the machine, they were very careful about their social distancing and making sure everything was very clean. Many years ago … okay, it was around 1989 … I had a lovely sewing machine, a New Home Memory Craft 6000. I had bought it from a different sewing machine store because try as I might, whenever I went into the Montavilla location on 82nd Avenue, I could never find anyone who would treat us politely. We went to church just down the street from that store and used to stop there after church some Sundays, to look at the machines and try to gather information.
