Open to the public since 2004, Montana Grizzly Encounter invites you to watch, learn and interact with the grizzlies in a safe environment. Watch as Brutus, Sheena and Bella, the resident bears, bask in the early morning sun, and later visit the gift shop to buy a few souvenirs to remember these grizzlies by.

It was very informative!! Learned a lot about bears I didn’t know. If I walk in the back country now at least I will know how to respond to a bear.
So awesome to be so close to a very dangerous animal without encountering it in the wild nor with it being trapped/mistreated by humans. I just wish their home could be bigger with more trees to look & feel a bit more like their habitat. Staff are very informative and kudos to them for their volunteer services. Nice gift shop with great items to buy...like we did!! 💕💕💕💕
