Open to the public since 2004, Montana Grizzly Encounter invites you to watch, learn and interact with the grizzlies in a safe environment. Watch as Brutus, Sheena and Bella, the resident bears, bask in the early morning sun, and later visit the gift shop to buy a few souvenirs to remember these grizzlies by.

RecommendedBella, Maggie and Brutus were amazing to see in person! while I thought I knew a lot about bears, I still learn more about them. We went there multiple times on our vacation, and will visit again.

We visited the encounter several times while in Bozeman at the end of June 2019. We really enjoyed our visits! We were so excited to see Brutus and Bella was such a character! We learned a lot we didn’t know about bears and bear safety! Such a great and knowledgeable group of volunteers! Thank you! Can’t wait to visit again next time we are in Montana 😊
