Summer of 2015 I purchased a prize scooter. In 3 years it’s been serviced 7 plus times. At first Monroe Wheelchair was very accommodating and now after multiple service calls not so much. Obviously, I purchased a lemon. I’ve been stranded, stalled more times than I can count. All due to this scooter. It’s been a safety issue since the first. Once again my scooter failed me. Your company is a DISGRACE to people with impaired mobility You should be ashamed
RecommendedThey were very courteous and welcoming. I was having a problem with my scooter randomly stopping. They looked over my scooter They could not find a problem. They fixed some minor things I had pointed out that I do not have tools for. They said it might be the battery. But they were not sure. I took a spill in witch the battery came off the scooter. And I did not know how old they are. So for less than $100. I had them replaced.

It’d take me hours to write everything this wheelchair business has put me through. All in all, I’ve talked to multiple people in this business who tried to scam me and manipulate me. It’s disgusting that you treat people with serious medical needs like this. I’m not a business opportunity, I’m a sick teenager who needs help to be able to walk. So thankful I have a good insurance company that supports me and is bringing up multiple claims against this company for me and other patients.
Please don't buy a wheelchair from Monroe. They are the most unethical, manipulative, predatory company I've ever seen. They take advantage of handicapped people.
I have tried to contact them about getting a new chair and no one has contacted me yet.
So I am unable to leave a testimonial about the crappy service I have gotten from Monroe Wheelchair . My daughter has been using Monroe for almost 13 years or so . Back than the service department was great .. Kory did an excellent job and he always double Checked and made sure his customers were taken care of ( follow up check by phone ) I'm unsure if it's now hire anyone off the street who can answer the phone just to get by but as soon as her wheelchair is able to be service ny another company we're gone. I have a roommate that Monroe sold him a electric chair inwich has been giving him problems they never told him his chair is for inside use only till he has used it for over a year last problem small wheels stay up not hitting ground his chair almost flipped several times diff wheel now same problem he also has a medical bed they haven't fixed but like to bill him what's up with Monroe well I've contacted a lawyer cause Victor Williams is not a fool
