The children's hospital is amazing. Everyone from the front staff to the OR staff. Very informative, helpful, knowledgeable, and understanding. They accomplished making my daughter, Kennedys surgery a success. Thank you to everyone!!
I've been going to Vandy Chilren's for years now, and would honestly not want to go anywhere else. It's a children's hospital so for the most part they're friendly and really take into consideration that you're just a kid and treat you in the best way they know how. I'm a returning chemo patient so once a week a payable visit to the hemotogy/oncology floor for a weekly blood draw and possible transfusions. The greatest Childrens Hospital that really care about the children, parents and grandparents, family and friends
I can't say enough about this wonderful hospital and staff!! My daughter had surgery there last Friday and she was in the PICU overnight. EVERYONE did a wonderful job all the way from doctors, nurses, and everywhere in between. So grateful for this hospital and its staff!
They were very helpful and we actually had a team of five Drs working to figure out what was wrong with my nine year old....It was very scary knowing something serious could have been wrong....They have so many caring friendly nurses and they are very talented at turning frowns upside down.
Best place ever. I loved all the staff. They make you feel like family an that your home.
We were referred to Vanderbilt because my daughter keeps having recurring UTI'S. I know that seems minimal compared to what most kids are going through at Vanderbilt. But the last one she had was absolutely terrifying. We were referred to Dr Tanaka in the urology deptartment. Two words to describe her and her staff -- ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. She explained things to me that our pediatrician hadn't been able to explain and herself and her staff spoke not only to me, but also to daughter, on her level. (She is 6). They took care of my son very well. Plenty of good doctors and nurses that took care of him. Special thanks to Dr Danko, recovery nurse, and the lady that talked him thru his IV.
We have had several surgeries done here for our daughter and they been amazing every time. We would never go any place else
