29/07/2025 - 8:30 am. Unfortunately, appointment booked was cancelled. No alternative staff arrangements. No representative at the reception. Self-Sign kiosk was out of order. People waiting in the reception room with no one to attend. SHP needs to look into these matters.

SHP are categorically the worst. They’ve given me incorrect medical advice (one receptionist blocked me from speaking to a doctor as she told me I couldn’t take a certain medication. A Google search told me otherwise and when I did get to speak to a doctor they prescribed it right away) and even told me incorrect blood test results, telling me I was hypothyroid when I was in fact hyperthryoid, and the only reason I knew to question what the doctor was telling me is because my partner is a doctor and had already looked at my ... read more

Update 06/2025 I believe SHP have a new online system to book so the review below no longer applies. HOW TO GET AN APPOINTMENT: I know the system is flawed but here’s some advice to make sure you get an appointment! As soon as 08:00 hits call SHP number 0121 705 1105, trick is to know the extensions too so if you want a NEW appointment for a new health issue, press options 1 1 2, this will get you into the queue quicker.
