Great Expectations...NOT! – I agree with WWJD1990 and CSmobileuser. My experience at Divas was not good. I went to this shop in March and I must say, I thought I had mad a mistake, because the pictures on her website are misleading. I went to Monica for a full head sew in...I scheduled my appointment two ways 1)via her email and 2) over the phone with her personally. Each time I specified that I wanted 10' hair. Lack of Business Skills – I had an appoint for a wig to be installed. After my payment was recieved I scheduled my appointment. At the appointment I was told that my hair hadn't arrived yet. Mind you I traveled from another state. I have been trying to contact her for five months about refunding my money or sending me the hair that I have purchased. She has been dodging me at all cost. No, I am taking legal action.
WORST HAIR EXPERIENCE EVER TOO!! – Hi, it's me again. I just wanted to let you guys know that I had my court date on 3/10/2009. The Judge ruled in my favor, as I knew he would. The owner is now legally liable to pay me my money back plus the cost of court. Her attorney wrote saying she wanted to pay me $100.00 a month for six months. This is ridiculous coming from a woman who claims to make between $100,000-150,000 a year. I have not heard anything else from her or her attorney and have not recieved any money. Potential Customer lost – suffering from aleopecia and tired of wearing quick weaves. I went online and found Diva lace wigs. I wont go into detail concerning my situation but I was not happy with the service I received..She was awful about answering her phone or even returning phone calls.. Outstanding Business Woman – I have been going to Monica now for almost a year because I was losing my hair and now almost all my hair has grown back YEA. It is because of her I have a head of full hair. I started with a full lace wig that last about a year. I was going every 2 weeks becuase I really didn't know how to take care of it. A GOD send – I just recently moved to the Birmingham area from Florida. I have special hair care needs, and needed someone who is knowlable in the hair care industry. BEST STYLIST IN THE CITY OF BIRMINGHAM!!! – I've read the statement that one lady from Mississippi wrote and I believe she has the wrong Monica Jordon. Monica did my unit in October of 08 and since then i have had no problem out of it. To the point I go the the store and have people asked me "what am mixed with?" WORST HAIR EXPERIENCE EVER TOO!! FOLLOW UP 1/30/09 – Users, when purchasing a lace wig, please be mindful of who you do business with. Get guarantees in writing. You will then have a leg to stand on. This is a signifcant purchase and one has to do research on that business. I won't go back and forth as this business owner seems to do. We have not been to court as whe claims.
