Stay AWAY – I don't usually do this kind of thing... but I feel the public must be warned of bad service. I went in for a sew-in... the sew in she did was VERY thin. Also I got a rinse in the crown of my head...or so I thought. She charged me $20 for the rinse. That's the price for a WHOLE head. And when i got home, and looked closely in the mirror I realized she did not do the rinse well. I'm walking around with weave of one color and my real hair another color. Former booth rental & the best stylist she could of ever had working in that piece of salon. I made it what it was & it hasn't been the same w/o me. You make your bed hard for yourself when you treat customers & your stylist like ''$hit''. I moved because I got tired of lights & water being turned off. Its was stressful working with her Monica is the example of FAKE. She Lies about EVERYTHING.
You don't get what you pay for – She does a great sewin and the hair is quality but she does not always have the needed resources available and will substitute. The picture online is not the actual shop. I don't know where that came from. I communicated well in advance my expectations. I even sent pictures of what I wanted. Neither the style or color were matched. Communications were slow or nonexistent and she does not stand behind her product. She boasts of clients in the judicial system as if to intimidate.
My hair was A mess! – I called this salon and I spoke with the owner. She was nice on the phone. So I set the appointment. She se the appointment at 8am and was late! Two hours! When she arrived she looked a hot mess! I didnt think this was how a stylist looks that has on the internet she makes 150,000 dollars a year. Only Professonal Classy Stylist – This is regarding the negative shampoo tech who worked for our salon. First of all she is not a stylist she is unlicensed. This lady came into the salon looking for a place to rent a booth. She is an unlicensed play stylist/Shampoo Tech (check Alabama Board of Cosmetology under Theresa Cadwell-Watts) & she wanted to earn her license under mines. I WORKED HERE AND....... – I WORKED AT THIS SALON AND IT WAS THE FUNNIEST TIME OF MY LIFE! THE OWNER KEPT TELLING ME THAT SHE DID NOT USE PRODUCTS OUT OF THE STORE. Finally a place for my sew-in – UPDATED: 5-05-2010: JUST WANTED TO LET EVERYONE KNOW. I'M STILL IN THE SAME SEW-IN AND AM HATING THAT I HAVE TO TAKE IT OUT. there are two sides to every story – I have been wearing a sew in for quite some time now,and I am a client of Monicas and I have not been party to "these so called customer service flaws." I can only comment on what I have witnessed and that is a person who knows her craft and tries her hardest to accomadate her clients.
