People are friendly, kind and it was a hassle free zone to travel through!
Long line of unorganized traffic to even get into terminal . . . not like other cruise terminals for sure. then had to pay online while driving in this mess or cash for exact amount of $90 which after parking you had to stand in a line like atm machine to pay that before entering elevators ... Definitely could use a upgrade to this system !!! Will avoid this terminal for future cruises , not worth it. Getting off the boat was just as bad. Everyone confused and long lines in the stuffy customs area made it even worse.
The drive into the terminal wasn't that great but once we parked in the overflow parking area, our experience was great. Every employee that we encountered had a Smile and was Quite Welcoming. Our experience was Great and Very Pleasant!! It was extremely chaotic when we returned, but once we were able to get downstairs and got a porter our experience was quick, easy and went very smooth. It was the Exact same. We were then taken back to our vehicle in the overflow parking lot. A Very Pleasant Experience Indeed!!
To begin with we were stuck in traffic for over an hour on the off ramp. ( we left early 11:00 am to avoid delays) The luggage drop off was very unorganized with some waiting 30 minutes and others only seconds. The lines inside the terminal were long and unorganized more like cattle than paid guest. This was our 10th cruise and first time going thru Mobile. They need work! However we'll try again.
Those people are awesome. They are friendly, informative, helpful, knowledgeable. I hope that Carnival forever uses this port. Got back yesterday from cruise and already want to go again.
Twice I have cruised from Mobile. Twice the traffic getting into the terminal has been a complete ridiculous mess. There is no organization to traffic. Both times we sit without moving for very, very long periods of time. We have moved a quarter mile in the last hour.
